So much more
than a train

The Red Line Extension will create long-overdue economic development in Roseland, Pullman, Riverdale and Washington Heights, including more than 200,000 new jobs. The project features four new stations, each a unique district that that will offer a lot more than expanded transit: miles of new pedestrian and cyclist paths, more trees and shade along the Red Line, and a new bridge spanning the South Side.
